The Art Of The Planted Aquarium

After the successes of 2008 and 2009 the 3rd International Competition of the best Aquarium-Designers will take place at the Pet Fair Hannover – again with a separate Nano-Competition.

Date: 5 – 7 February 2010

The most beautifully designed Aquariums will engage into competion.  The focus is on the planted aquariums.  The show will be live.  In other words the designing will take place under the eyes of the visitors of the pet fair.

The participants of the competition will have time to decorate their aquariums between Friday 5th February 10:00 a.m. and Saturday 6th February 01:00 p.m. (13 o’clock).  During this time-period the visitors of the pet fair are able to watch the decorating.

The international jury is composed of members from Germany, Denmark, USA, Canada and Brazil.

Each participant receives a certificate and the winner receives a trophy.  On Sunday the jury will judge the work and afterwards the award ceremony will take place.  An extensive framework program with lecturers and discussion forums of well-known experts is offered.
